Commons: 8lbs 12ozs,9lbs 5ozs, 10lbs 4ozs, 10lbs 13ozs, 12lbs 14ozs,13lbs 12ozs. Sturgeon: 14lbs 2ozs. Catfish: 7lbs 12ozs, 33lbs 12ozs (p.b.), 36lbs 10ozs (personal best). Derek Mirrors: 16lbs 1ozs, 18lbs 8ozs, 18lbs 12ozs, 20lbs 14ozs, 23lbs 3ozs, 23lbs 2ozs. Commons: 7lbs 6ozs, 8lbs 2ozs, 12lbs 4ozs. Sturgeon: 13lbs 4ozs, 16lbs 6ozs. Catfish: 18lbs 3ozs, 31lbs 15ozs (p.b.) 33lbs 12ozs (p.b.) plus 4 kittens. See you next year on Birch! (w/c 9th July). Simple rigs, 12 inch hooklinks, double baits seem to work best. Biggish catfish - open water. All carp caught in margins. Thanks for a lovely week, beautiful weather - hot! (Not so good for the fish!) Meals on Reels: really enjoyed thebreakfast baguette, but if you have a greedy husband like mine you'll need two!!! Baby ducks - between Poplars and Birch love bread! (They're so cute!) |
